Tenor Capital is a boutique financial advisor that focuses exclusively on employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) which is a qualified, defined contribution, employee benefit plan. ESOP’s are qualified in the sense that the ESOP’s sponsoring company, the selling shareholder, and participants receive various tax benefits. An ESOP is very similar to other qualified retirement plans, like a 401(k), except that the ESOP is designed to invest in the stock of the sponsoring company.
The principals of Tenor Cap have deep M&A and ESOP experience with more than 30 years combined and 50 transactions with privately held companies.
We are focused on closely-held, middle market companies and their shareholders. We deliver the highest level of service with unwavering integrity and consistently meet the goals of our clients.
